Sniper Bootcamps are based upon performing your choice of any THREE of our 1-HOUR military inspired, educational, motivational and structured bootcamp sessions aka 'operations' each week.

Each day... Monday to Friday (Saturday morning is a repeat of Friday) enjoy a different Sniper bootcamp operation provided by your very own Drill Sergeant.

Simply choose your location, then enjoy the choice of ANY of our bootcamp options in that area, selecting the days and times that are most convenient for your lifestyle.

HOW DOES SNIPER OPERATE?

Once you feel that enroling to the ranks of #teamsniper is for you simply click the 'ENLIST' links on this page or use the drop down on the 'BOOTCAMPS' tab at the top of this page. Next our site will ask you to...

1. Select your bootcamp location and payment.
2. New recruits will then be asked to create their account.
3. Payment and promotional codes added.
4. Bootcamps in the location you have paid for can then be booked via your desktop computer.
5. A welcome text with a link to our free mobile app will be sent.
6. Email/text confirmations will then be automatically provided for all bookings and cancellations.
7. New recruits will be contacted by a Drill Sergeant with-in 24-hours to book their one-to-one, answer any questions and to confirm the location of the meeting place for their first bootcamp.

Each week you will be entitled to select (via your mobile, tablet or desktop) your choice of any THREE Sniper bootcamp days/times, aka operations.

Our 24-hour booking policy means that if a bootcamp is scheduled to begin within 24-hours, that bootcamp is LOCKED and no one else can book on or cancel at that point.

When using your app a locked bootcamp will state 'CALL.' If you want to find out if there is any last minute availability for a locked bootcamp, then please just call ourselves for the latest intel.

PLEASE NOTE: Once a bootcamp is locked, if you miss that bootcamp then you lose one of your bootcamp entitlements for that week. If however, you require to cancel your bootcamp and it is outside our 24-hour policy (cancelling can be done either via your app or desktop computer) then you keep your bootcamp entitlement for that week and another bootcamp may be booked in the future. WHAT ARE SNIPER 'OPERATIONS'?

Sniper bootcamps, aka 'operations' use a mixture of short jogs/runs/movement patterns, body weight, plyometric and isometric based exercises where the variables of duration, speed and time under tension are constantly varied to provide different levels of exercise intensity and in doing so keep your body constantly adapting to the workouts provided.

As Sniper operations are based in the great outdoors we look towards using the environment itself to provide a platform and base to perform our branded operations... hills, banks, walls, bars, benches, sand, grass, steps, slopes... all are utilsed at some point to create a diverse and creative operation in order to allow you to achieve the best possible results in the shortest amount of time.

Whats more, because we do not use apparatus based exercise and utilise only what nature and the environment has provided, ALL our Sniper operations can be taken away and performed by you on your own... at home, work or even... on holiday!

FAQ 1 - Do I need to be fit to perform a Sniper Bootcamp?

Simply put NO.. not at all! Sniper Bootcamps are suitable for ALL fitness levels, from complete beginners to professional athletes, both male and females and young or not so young.

All our Sniper workouts aka 'operations' are designed to allow YOU to perform to your ability at the time... you choose how hard you work!

Sniper bootcamps are designed so that there is no fastest or slowest, strongest or weakest... you are simply in competition with YOURSELF!

"The difference between who you are and who you want to be is WHAT YOU DO!"

FAQ 2 - what happens if i cannot make all three sessions per week?

Remember, our service allows you to choose what THREE Sniper operations you wish to participate in each week. Choose the day and time of your operations via desk-top, tablet or our mobile app and we will provide reminders by email/text of when those classes are on.

Our 24-hour booking policy means that if a class is scheduled to begin within 24-hours, that class is locked and no one else can book on or cancel at that point.

Once a class is locked, if you miss that class then you lose one of your class entitlements for that week.

If however, you require to cancel your class and it is outside our 24-hour policy (cancelling can be done either via your app, desktop or text service) then you keep your class entitlement for that week and another class may be booked in the future.

PLEASE NOTE: Three operations must be completed each week. Operations not performed will not be moved to the following week.

FAQ 3 - What is invloved in a typical Sniper Bootcamp Operation?

Every Bootcamp is based around 3 distinct phases - the warm-up, the high intensity Sniper operation and finally the cool-down. Together these these 3 phases take 1-hour to complete.

At each operation is structured and you will be educated and guided on the correct performance of each exercise, which will allow you to perform the provided operation correctly with maximum intent. 

Every operation is different in terms of exercise duration, speed and time under tension and therefore keeps the body guessing and adapting to the new stimulus provide... we never perform the same exact operation twice and at present we have over 600+ operations to choose from. Simply put change is good!

FAQ 4 - what do i need to wear and bring for each Sniper Bootcamp?

The first thing you need to bring is your #Teamsniper Attitude and to give it 100% focus and to hit every target that you set for yourself!

After that, good appropiate footwear/trainers, a water bottle, water proofs and gloves if necessary and of course be wearing your FREE Sniper "Battle Cry" T-shirt to get you inspired, motivated and focused... ready for battle!

FAQ 5 - after i enrol for a Sniper Bootcamp what happens next?

Once you have completed our enrolment form either online or in person and have made payment your place is reserved and you have officially become a member of #Teamsniper.

Please note, that until payment is received your place is not guaranteed and places have been filled in as little as 4-hours after becoming available. So pre-booking for future Sniper Bootcamps is recommended.

After enrolling you will receive a welcome email confirming your place on #Teamsniper. You will then be able to book your choice of bootcamp day and time via desk-top, tablet or using our mobile app.

PLEASE NOTE: Our 24-hour booking policy means that if a class is scheduled to begin within 24-hours, that class is locked and no one else can book on or cancel at that point.

For new recruits, a Sniper Drill Sergeant for your regiment (area) will contact you with in 24-hours to book your initial one-two-one appointment at which point will will take your starting measurements, provide you with your Sniper "Battle Cry" T-shirt and explain the Ammo pack in detail.

This is be your opportunity to "de-brief" us on any aspect or question relating to performing the Sniper Bootcamp that you are unsure about or would like more intel regarding (all information provided is confidential).

Bioscale App Instructions

 

One of the FREE services we provide our recruits is usage of our “BODY ANALYSER” BIOSCALES!

In time for your next measurement day please download the FREE ACTIV8RLIVES app and register. Then simple bring your phone when you get measured.

Our new scales allow for the measurement of:

- Weight
- Muscle mass
- Fat %
- Visceral fat
- Body water
- RMR
- BMR

Using our bioscales along with the app ALL your measurements can be uploaded to your app direct onto your phone instantly.

So every time you get measured... simply have your phone to hand... put app and bluetooth on... press measure and have all readings automatically recorded to your phone. Loads of detail and no fuss!

When registering much of the information is NOT required to the use the app (for instance your NHS number, so just press ‘next’ if not available).

When deciding the level of information please select ‘SIMPLE’ and when it asks for what equipment, please just choose the ‘BODY ANALYSER.’ If you are not sure of your weight and height at the time please just guess as the bioscales will update your measurements automatically in the future.

WHAT IS BIA? Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) is a commonly used method for estimating body composition, and in particular body fat.

WHAT IS BIOIMPEDANCE? Bioimpedance is a measure of how well the body impedes electric current flow (yes we use a small electric current.. you won’t feel anything). Fat has high resistance, where as other tissues such as muscle, bone etc have different impedes to electric current. By measuring the impedes we can access what the make up of the body is!

ACCURACY? Dehydration is a recognized factor affecting BIA measurements as it causes an increase in the body's electrical resistance. So anything that affect your state of hydration can affect the accuracy of the results…caffeine, medication, exercise, humidity, temperature, illness and alcohol. Such factors are required to be kept ‘constant’ in order to allow constant measurements to be produced.

SAFTEY: As an electrical current is used to measure, people with pacemakers are advised not to use the monitors. Although there are no known health risks, this is a precaution that is advocated by all manufacturers of BIA.

Accuracy is an issue for certain categories of people, but the units may still be used to monitor trends and accurately show degree of change. They include: Pregnant women and professional athletes and bodybuilders… those who are not the norm when it comes to levels of muscle mass.

BODY WATER: The ideal body water percentage varies. It is influenced by different factors. Gender, age and body composition affect this percentage.

In general, women have a lower body water percentage than men. This is because women have more tissue than men. The ideal percentage for adult women will fluctuate between 45 and 60%, while the ideal percentage for adult men will be between 50 and 65% of the total body.

For the real athletic body types it is even recommended to have 5% more body water than the average adult range.

VISCERAL FAT: Visceral Fat Rating: Visceral fat is the body fat that is stored in the abdominal cavity. Carrying excess body fat in the abdominal area places you at greater risk for chronic diseases including heart disease, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes.

A rating between 1 and 12 indicates that you have a healthy level of visceral fat. A rating between 13 and 59 indicates that you have an excessive level of visceral fat.

RMR AND BMR: Both BMR and RMR, estimate the number of calories you burn at rest, but RMR takes additional factors into consideration when determining needs.

BMR measures your basal energy expenditure, or BEE. The BEE is a 24 hour estimation of the number of calories you burn maintaining your most basic bodily functions, such as breathing, circulating blood and growing and repairing cells.

RMR measures your resting energy expenditure. REE determines the number of calories you burn in a 24 hour period maintaining basic bodily functions, but also includes the number of calories burned eating and conducting small amounts of activity. RMR should slightly higher than BMR when measuring.
