SO WHAT IS SNIPER S.W.A.T AND S.A.S ALL ABOUT?
A normal Sniper Bootcamp: A Sniper Bootcamp is a type of outdoor group exercise class that resembles a Military Bootcamp. Body weight exercises, sprints, plyometrics, interval training and short rest periods are incorporated in such a way that it pushes the participants harder than they'd push themselves.
FACT - “Progress is impossible without change!" So we came up with SNIPER S.W.A.T AND S.A.S BOOTCAMPS as the evolution of a normal Sniper Bootcamp for those recruits that need to take their fitness to the next level and need that extra challenge.
Every recruit going into battle carries their own survival gear!
In Sniper S.W.A.T you will wear your own weighted-vest, where as in Sniper S.A.S YOU have your own backpack… this time not for survival… but to give your body that extra challenge it needs and to promote both physical and mental “evolution.”
Sniper S.W.A.T is your first stage of evolution. A comfortable weighted-vest (5-10kg) is provided that provides extra resistance when performing your normal bootcamps exercise and runs. This extra resistance in turn means increased calorie expenditure whilst still performing the same exercises and runs... in comfort!
Now, Sniper S.A.S is the final stage of evolution and is a beast of a workout! Think of a diabolical combination of free weight, kettlebell, medicine ball and core exercises utilising a weighted backpack combined with runs where the backpack can be worn, placed on shoulders... or even held high above your head… it does not come any tougher than this!
Your own S.A.S backpack will be weighted with 8% of your body weight (so everyone is equal) and will be utilised within your bootcamp to add extra resistance throughout your beasting… sorry… training!
Sniper S.A.S does NOT just push the participant to train harder… it slap’s YOU in the face… tell’s YOU to shut the **** up… and get on with creating a NEW YOU… "If it doesn't CHALLENGE YOU... it won't CHANGE YOU!"
ENTRY CRITERIA FOR BOTH S.W.A.T AND S.A.S:
1. You MUST have previous experience of some form of bootcamp… this means a knowledge of what burpees, mountain climbers, prisons squats etc are, is a MUST.
2. You MUST have established a good level of basic fitness already and can sprint, run, push and pull with the best of them.
3. You MUST be up for a challenge and NEED that next level of exercise intensity.
4. Drill sergeants have the final say… if we feel you are NOT ready for SNIPER S.W.A.T OR S.A.S, you will not be allowed to participate.
